After 24 months with your current MacBook, you’ll become eligible for an upgrade.
Here’s how it works:
We’ll notify you: Around 30 days before your upgrade window opens, we’ll send you an email letting you know that you're eligible to upgrade your device.
You decide: Once you receive the message, simply reply to let us know whether you'd like to upgrade or continue with your current MacBook.
We guide you through your options: If you choose to upgrade, we’ll help you select and order your new MacBook, either through our customer portal or with support from our team, whichever you prefer.
Return your current device: After your new MacBook ships, we’ll send you a prepaid return box to make it easy to send your current device back. You’ll typically have 14 days to return it once you receive the new one.
Things to keep in mind:
Device condition matters: Your current MacBook should be in good working condition with no major damage. If it isn't, reach out to our support team to discuss your options.
Data backup: Before returning your MacBook, make sure to back up your data and sign out of iCloud and Find My Mac to avoid any delays.
Want to keep your current MacBook instead? No problem—just let us know, and you can continue using it without upgrading.
