I want to upgrade my device, what's the process?

After 24 months with your current device, you’ll become eligible for an upgrade.

Upgrading isn’t just about a new device. A newer one means better performance, longer battery life, and fewer tech issues slowing you down. We make sure your tools keep up with your life, so you can spend less time troubleshooting and more time doing what matters!

That's why we want to make upgrading simple. Our goal is to make sure your transition to a new device is smooth, stress-free, and effortless.

Here’s how it works:

  1. We’ll notify you: Around 30 days before your upgrade window opens, we’ll send you an email letting you know that you're eligible to upgrade your device.

  2. You decide: Once you receive the message, simply reply to let us know whether you'd like to upgrade or continue with your current device.

  3. We guide you through your options: If you choose to upgrade, we’ll help you select and order your new device.

  4. Return your current device: After your new device ships, we’ll send you a prepaid return box and a Thunderbolt cable to make data transfer and returns as easy as possible. You’ll typically have 14 days to return your current device after receiving the new one.

Things to keep in mind:

  • Device condition matters: Your current device should be in good working condition with no major damage. If it isn't, reach out to our support team to discuss your options.

  • Data backup: Before returning your device, make sure to back up your data and sign out of iCloud and Find My Device to avoid any delays.

  • Want to keep your current device instead? No problem! Just let us know, and you can continue using it without upgrading.
