Once your Upgraded order has shipped, we understand how helpful it would be to reroute the package to a UPS Access Point or pickup location, especially if you're not home or have upcoming travel plans.
However, due to the high value of the devices we ship (like MacBooks), all UPS shipments from our warehouse include security restrictions that prevent rerouting, delivery address changes, or Access Point pickups. This is something UPS enforces to reduce the risk of loss, theft, or fraud, and unfortunately, we aren’t able to lift or override these restrictions once the order has shipped.
What happens if I miss the delivery?
UPS will typically attempt delivery up to three times. If no one is available to receive the package, it’s often held at a nearby UPS facility for in-person pickup with ID. You'll receive tracking updates from UPS with details if that happens.
We also recommend signing up for UPS My Choice, which may give you additional notifications and insight into your delivery schedule.
What if I’m traveling or won’t be home?
If you have travel planned or know you won’t be home around the expected delivery date, we suggest the following:
Have someone you trust receive the delivery on your behalf at your address.
If no one is available, UPS may hold the package at a facility after several missed attempts. In that case, you may be able to pick it up directly with a valid photo ID before they return it to sender.
If your travel is long-term and you're concerned about missing all delivery attempts, contact us at [email protected] as early as possible after ordering, and we’ll do our best to help based on your timeline.
